Congressman Connolly to Welcome the CIOs

What are a dozen top Federal agency CIOs really thinking about on top challenges and opportunities for 2025? Is it cyber, AI, or cloud that tops the list? How will that propel billions in tech budgets next year?

We’re set to debut the new Federal CIO Forecast report and reveal the many answers to these questions at MeriTalk’s Tech Tonic on September 19 from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. at Morton’s The Steakhouse in Washington, D.C. – and you’re invited.

Here’s the promise:

We’ll unveil the first “Federal CIO Forecast” research study on fiscal year 2025 IT spending plans powered by one-one-conversations with 12 agency CIOs – the Digital Dozen.

We hope to host the very same CIOs that inform the report’s findings – including Guy Cavallo of OPM, Tony Arcadi of Treasury, Scott Flanders of NRC, Cordell Schacter of DoT, Jason Gray of USAID, Terry Carpenter of NSF, along with former DoD CIO John Sherman and Labor tech boss Gundeep Ahluwalia – at Tech Tonic to provide additional color on the study.

And Capitol Hill’s leading technology legislator Gerry Connolly, D-Va., will lay out what it all means for Congress and the upcoming appropriations cycle.

Plus we’ll provide the highlight reel from the government vs. industry sporting challenge – MeriTalk’s 5th Annual CIO Cricket Match.

The only thing missing now is you, so hit the sign-up button and we will see you on Sept. 19!
