On Monday, Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) completed a $2.5 billion stock acquisition of Engility. SAIC said when the deal was announced in September 2018 that the acquisition would make it the second largest independent technology integrator in government services with about $6.5 billion of annual revenue on a pro forma basis. SAIC’s workforce is expanding to about 23,000 employees as a result.
