Rep. Hurd Election Race Too Close to Call

While Hurd initially appeared to win, prompting the Associated Press to call the race in his favor and leading Hurd to declare victory, Ortiz Jones has since narrowed the gap, leaving the race currently sitting narrowly in Hurd’s favor. Ortiz Jones has not conceded, and has called for provisional ballots and military absentee votes to be counted.
