Rep. Will Hurd, R-Texas, who has been an advocate for Federal IT policies on Capitol Hill, announced that he will be a member of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Military Construction and Veterans Affairs, and the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Transportation, Housing and Urban Development. Hurd will play an important role in setting the budgets for the Departments of Veterans Affairs, Transportation, and Housing and Urban Development “I look forward to working with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to better serve our veterans, rebuild our roads, and advance projects that can better serve the communities I represent,” said Hurd.
