The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) has named Chezian Sivagnanam chief architect for IT architecture and design within the agency’s chief information officer organization.

 

Sivagnanam – who announced his new role via a LinkedIn post – started in his new job last month. He brings to the agency more than 25 years of IT experience including leading large-scale digital transformations across the Federal government.

 

Most recently, he served as the chief enterprise architect at the National Science Foundation (NSF), where he spent 13 years working on NSF’s IT governance and management efforts. During his time at NSF, Sivagnanam also advised the chief information officer and coordinated the agency’s IT strategy and architecture.

 

Outside of government, Sivagnanam has worked for several private organizations including Deloitte Consulting. Sivagnanam earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Anna University’s College of Engineering in India.
