FCC Sets Broadband Precision Agriculture Task Force

The Federal Communications Commission announced appointments to its Precision Ag Connectivity Task Force that will work on strategies to advance broadband communications deployment on agricultural land and promote precision agriculture. The task force will be headed by Teddy Bekele, chief technology officer at Land O’Lakes, and Catherine Moyer, CEO at Pioneer Communications. The task force will hold its first meeting on Dec. 9 at FCC headquarters in Washington.
