Lee Ann Crochunis has been named deputy director for the Office of Information Technology at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) within the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as deputy director, Office of Information Technology at Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services,” announced Crochunis on her LinkedIn account.

As the new deputy director, Crochunis will work on helping the agency modernize and scale it’s technological capabilities.

Prior to the new appointment, Crochunis served for over five year at CMS in a variety of roles including chief program officer for Medicare payments system modernization and acting director for the applications management group.

Before starting at CMS, Crochunis was chief growth officer at Neil Hoosier and Associates for over two years.
