AWS and GDIT joined forces to bring mission partners flexibility and choice to meet virtually any cloud need. Join subject matter experts during this session to hear more about the history of adding AWS GovCloud onto milCloud® 2.0, how to leverage new cloud technologies and capabilities on the contract, and how mission partners can swiftly acquire cloud services via the milCloud® 2.0 contract.
The latest addition of AWS GovCloud on milCloud® 2.0 provides mission partners with immediate access to an expanded portfolio of secure cloud services. During this session, we’ll discuss how to get started on milCloud® 2.0 with AWS GovCloud, as well as cover how AWS and GDIT collaborate to provide key milCloud® 2.0 services to mission partners. We’ll also highlight the latest security controls and services available to help DoD organizations accelerate cloud adoption, simplify acquisition, and improve mission effectiveness.
The milCloud® 2.0 contract’s self-service model for service ordering, service provisioning, and account management and funding allows mission partners to acquire milCloud® 2.0 and AWS GovCloud services in as little as 48 hours. During this session, we’ll review the ins and outs of the funding process, how mission partners can use MIPR funds to acquire AWS cloud services, and identify resources to get started on AWS as mission partners build out their environment.
When mission partners contract AWS GovCloud on milCloud® 2.0, they gain access to the AWS Enterprise Support team and a dedicated AWS Technical Account Manager (TAM). During this session, we’ll elaborate on the benefits of Enterprise Support, and review the ticketing and escalation process.
You’ve migrated to milCloud® 2.0 and need to get your system back on the DoD network – what’s next? During this session, we’ll discuss the connectivity requirements needed to protect your workloads in the cloud and the common architectural patterns to satisfy these constraints. We’ll also review several connectivity options available for purchase from DISA to accelerate your cloud journey, including DISA’s Secure Cloud Computing Architecture Services, the BCAP connection process, and more.
