The White House Executive Office of the President (EOP) extended the deadline for a sources sought notice about contractor support for developing and maintaining applications for the Executive Office of the President. The deadline for industry response is February 20.

“The Executive Office of the President seeks to award an Omnibus contract for application services from inception to production support and supplies,” the notice states. EOP said it intends to award a five-year indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity contract.

The contractor selected would need to provide a wide range of services, from agile development and prototypes to patching and updates, to hosting FedRAMP certified platforms and conducting security testing. Applications would range from mobile, to cloud-hosted, to custom applications.

In managing applications for the White House, the notice states that contractors will have to have clearances to handle up to Top Secret information. Contractors would also have to comply with the unique needs of the White House, such as records and preservation requirements set by the EOP and offer support needed for the Presidential transition.
