The White House said in a statement today that President Trump intends to nominate Dale Cabaniss as director of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM).

Cabaniss, who was chairman of the Federal Labor Relations Authority from 2001 to 2008, will be nominated for a four-year term to head OPM. She also was Republican Staff Director for the Senate Appropriations Committee’s Subcommittee on Financial Services and General Government.

If confirmed by the Senate, she will succeed Margaret Weichert as head of OPM.  Weichert will continue as deputy director for management at the Office of Management and  Budget.
