The Senate Rules & Administration Committee yesterday advanced two of President Trump’s nominations to the Election Assistance Commission. The committee, led by Chairman Roy Blunt, R, Mo., and Ranking Member Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., voted to advance the nominations of Benjamin Hovland and Donald L. Palmer out of committee. The two nominees still need a full Senate vote before they are confirmed.
