The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) is stepping up its social media game by launching an Instagram account, giving its followers an inside look at DNI Avril Haines’ workday.

The agency already has over 4,200 Instagram followers and has posted five times since launching the account last week. On its Twitter account, the ODNI boasts an impressive 217,200 followers.

In a tweet promoting its newest social media channel, the ODNI said, “Come to see highlights of DNI Haines’ first week on the job, stay to get a behind the scenes look at our values, people, and mission.”

The ODNI is among many Federal agencies that have launched Instagram accounts to engage with the public and reach a younger audience. The agency also has a Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube account.
