The U.S. Navy on Thursday awarded five firms a potential seven-year, $950 billion contract for “Cyber Mission Systems, kitting, and supplies.”
The winning firms are Cambridge International Systems, Grove Resource Solutions, PeopleTec, Systems Technology Forum, and UEC Electronics. They will provide firm-fixed-price and cost-plus-fixed-fee delivery/task orders to the Navy, under an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contact.
“The work includes procuring systems that provide wireless and communications, detection, collection and exploitation of electrical and electronic equipment to support the warfighter,” the Defense Department said Thursday in a contract announcement. “Additionally, related services such as sustainment, maintenance, and disposal may be procured under the scope of this planned effort as a result of the end-items required.”
The contract includes a five-year initial ordering period, with a two-year option, extending to August 2025 if the option is exercised. Work will be performed across the globe. The contracting activity, the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, received 13 bids for the cyber contract.
