Mary Davie, a longtime Federal acquisition leader at the General Services Administration (GSA) and currently a senior official at NASA, announced she is retiring from Federal service at the end of this year.
Davie confirmed the news on her LinkedIn and Twitter accounts, saying she is “grateful” for her time in government and “excited for a new chapter.” FCW was the first to report her retirement.
Davie spent over 30 years at GSA, where she served as the director of the GSA Program Management Office for Human Capital Shared Services, and the deputy commissioner of the Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) responsible for the delivery of more than $50 billion in products, services, and solutions used by Federal, state, and local agencies.
She also spent over six years as the assistant commissioner for GSA’s Information Technology Category, among a variety of other roles.
For the last two years of her Federal service career, Davie has served as the deputy associate administrator for NASA’s Mission Support Transformation Office, as well as the Mission Support Directorate.
Additionally, she has served as the government-wide IT category manager under the Office of Management and Budget’s category management initiative.
