CSRA Subsidiary Gets EPA STS Contract

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) awarded a Scientific and Technical Support (STS) contract to a subsidiary of CSRA on Oct. 3 to assist the EPA Office of Water (OW) Engineering and Analysis Division and other organizations with similar needs. The contract holds a potential value of $24.5 million over five years. CSRA will support the EPA with design and implementation, development and validation of laboratory methods for the analysis of environmental samples, rulemaking and regulatory support, quality assurance, data management, training, and other outreach.

Comodo Releases UTM Virtual Appliance

Comodo released Comodo Dome Firewall 2.0 on Oct.3, an all-in-one UTM virtual appliance, which provides a comprehensive suite of boundary and network security features in a single pane of glass, installed on-premises and free of charge. The product meets the Common Criteria (CC) EAL 4+ certification, which is recognized by 26 countries.
