DXC Manages Federal Employee Identity Safeguard Program

The General Services Administration recently issued a $150 million contract to DXC Technology. Under the contract, DXC will manage a program that safeguards the identities of 1.4 million agency employees. GSA issued this contract as part of the Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12, which mandates a common identification standard for Federal employees and contractors.

Boeing Works on Tech to Destroy Incoming Missiles

The U.S. Missile Defense Agency awarded Boeing a $58.6 million, 35-month contract to evolve multi-object kill vehicle technology. Multi-object kill vehicle enhances an interceptor’s ability to locate and destroy incoming missiles. The agency issued Boeing an initial study contract in 2015 to design and test the concept of multi-object kill vehicle technology.

CSRA Provides IT Support for EPA

CSRA announced May 25 that its subsidiary, SRA International, has been awarded a five-year, $266 million contract by the General Services Administration’s Federal Systems Integration and Management Center (FEDSIM). The new contract directs CSRA to provide IT support for the Environmental Protection Agency, including data center management, application hosting, application deployment and maintenance, geospatial service support, network security, cybersecurity, cloud computing, Continuity of Operations (COOP) services, Enterprise Identity and Access Management (EIAM) and Active Directory (AD). “This contract is a tremendous opportunity for CSRA and we are excited to bring our next-generation technology to the EPA,” said Executive Vice President Paul Nedzbala, head of CSRA’s Health and Civil Group.
