Intel Creates Intel GO 

Intel on Jan. 4 announced the creation of Intel GO, which is a new brand for its automotive solutions including car, connectivity, and cloud services. Intel has two in-vehicle development platforms for automated driving, an automotive 5G platform, and tool kits specific to the automated driving industry.

CenturyLink Names VP of Contracts Management

CenturyLink, a cloud and IT services company, named Marcy Palus vice president of contracts management on Jan. 4. Palus, who previously served as vice president of contracts for Lockheed Martin, will manage all of CenturyLink’s customer relationships within the Federal government finance and contracting community.

Navy Extends Pact With General Dynamics Bath Iron Works

The U. S. Navy issued a $126 million contract extension with General Dynamics Bath Iron Works to manage modernization efforts for Arleigh Burke-class destroyers. General Dynamics Bath Iron Works is a shipyard based in Bath, Maine, that specializes in naval vessels. Under the extended contract, General Dynamics will conduct projects relating to engineering, design, material kitting, logistics, planning, and execution through December 2017.
