Carahsoft Gets Utah State Government Cloud Contract

Utah’s state government on Dec. 14 awarded Carahsoft a contract to provide cloud technologies to local government agencies and educational entities. Carahsoft specializes in software and infrastructure services. The contract, which can last up to 10 years, was awarded through a competitive solicitation and evaluation process.

San Diego County Renews HP Contract

San Diego County supervisors recently renewed their contract with HP Enterprise Services. The contract will cost the county $918.5 million over seven years. Under the contract, HP will provide IT services throughout the county. San Diego County has worked with HP since 2011. The contract will cost $140 million a year; the county currently has a $5.36 billion annual budget.
