The General Services Administration (GSA) announced several key leadership positions today, including Laila ElGohary as White House Liaison, who brings substantial technology experience to the position.
ElGohary was director of technology and operations-presidential personnel at the Obama White House in 2015 and 2016. She also was Deputy CTO for the Biden for President campaign, and CTO of the 59th Presidential Inaugural Committee.
GSA also appointed Exodie Roe III Associate Administrator for the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization; Roberto Rosas and Venecia Fernandez as Policy Advisors for the Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs; and LeJamiel Goodall as Senior Advisor to the Deputy Administrator.
“We are thrilled to have Exodie Roe III on board. His team will partner with the Federal Acquisition Services and the Public Building Services to broaden diversity, equity, and inclusion into the way GSA does business,” said GSA Acting Administrator Katy Kale.
“In addition to Exodie, we have key team members bringing experience from the Hill, local and state government: Roberto Rosas, a congressional policy advisor; Venecia Fernandez, a congressional policy advisor, LeJamiel Goodall, the senior advisor to the deputy administrator; and Laila ElGohary, the White House liaison.”
