The General Services Administration’s Technology Transformation Services Division on Nov. 9 issued a request for information (RFI) in connection with a market survey of firms that would provide “professional services” in support of the cloud.gov platform. In the RFI, GSA said it intends to purchase professional services for a vendor to perform “operations and maintenance for the cloud.gov technical system, specifically the Cloud Foundry-based platform and supporting services and web applications.” Work under the contract would last until October 2019, with an option to continue through October 2020. The RFI has a response date of Nov. 20, and GSA is holding a virtual industry day event on Nov. 16 to share information and clarify components of the contract. GSA noted the RFI is not a request for proposals, or a commitment to award a contract.
