The Department of Education has named Margaret Glick as the new Chief Information Officer of the agency’s Federal Student Aid Office.
Glick has been working at the U.S Department of Education through the Federal Student Aid program for nearly six years, beginning as a program analyst in 2016 and most recently serving as Director of the Next Gen Program Office.
The Federal Student Aid Office has about 1,400 employees, and provides $112 billion in grant, work-study, and loan funds each year to help pay for college or career school. The office serves about 10 million students per year.
Before working at the Department of Education, Glick had worked both at Sallie Mae and DePaul University in their finance departments.
She Received a BA in political science and government from DePaul University.
