Dominic Sale, the fella that heads up GSA’s IT policy-to-implementation portfolio as Deputy Associate Administrator, Information Integrity and Access (I2A), is moving on up.

GSA is promoting Sale to Assistant Commissioner for Operations at TTS (the artist formerly known as 18F).  Sale will report to Joanne Collins Smee, who heads the American Office of Innovation at GSA.  This move as GSA looks to redirect TTS as a listening innovation support system to support Federal IT transformation and modernization.

Sale brings experience from the trenches at I2A, working alongside Federal agencies across government to move the ball forward on high-impact, challenging issues like customer experience, data center optimization, and accessibility.  Focused on practical innovation, Sale has a proven track record inside Federal IT.  He spent at OMB, where he served at the chief of data analytics and reporting as well as the eGov portfolio manager.  He’s also walked a mile in agency shoes–he worked at Transportation as a program analyst.  Sale will take up his new position on Feb. 5.
