In a global cybersecurity report released Wednesday from Comparitech, the United States was ranked the fifth most secure country. Landing ahead of the United States were Japan, France, Canada, and Denmark. When compiling the report, Comparitech considered seven categories: percentage of mobiles infected with malware, percentage of computers infected with malware, number of financial malware attacks, percentage of telnet attacks (by originating country), percentage of attacks by cryptominers, best-prepared countries for cyberattacks, and countries with the most up-to-date legislation.
