Census CISO Retiring Sept. 27

Tim Ruland, the CISO at the Census Bureau, announced his retirement via LinkedIn, with his last day scheduled for September 27. “To all I have worked with, I enjoyed the opportunities, and for those I have met professionally, I appreciate your work and have learned something from each and every one of you,” he said. With the Decennial Census approaching, the Bureau will need to find a replacement for Ruland, who has served as its CISO for the last 20 years.
