The Department of Veterans Affairs awarded a $9.9 million contract to establish and manage a new cloud platform for the agency’s mobile applications to Booz Allen Hamilton. The contract was awarded on Sept. 26, 2018, but the deal was formally announced Thursday. According to the Request for Proposal, the selected vendor will provide platform development, application migration, mobile environment support, and provide operations and maintenance support for the mobile cloud environments and infrastructure software.
