The Army released a sources sought notice for the service’s Persistent Cyber Training Environment (PCTE), requesting information from companies that could “consolidate the integration and development of the PCTE platform.” The notice, which requests response by Nov. 2, describes the PCTE platform as “a capability providing the Department of Defense cyberspace workforce the ability to conduct cyberspace operations training, experimentation, certification, as well as the assessment and development of cyber capabilities and tactics, techniques, and procedures for missions that cross boundaries and networks.” The notice describes the need for a contractor to deliver a fully integrated training platform and a real-time reporting mechanism to analyze operations and inventory data. The notice also states that contractors must have a secret-level clearance.
