The Air Force has welcomed new IT leadership, naming Eileen Vidrine its new chief data officer. According to Vidrine’s LinkedIn, she has been serving in the role since June. However, it doesn’t appear that the Air Force has formally announced her appointment. Vidrine is no stranger to the Pentagon, having previously served in the human capital management office. She was also previously a part of the White House Leadership Development Program. Vidrine replaces Maj. Gen. Kimberly Crider, who was the Air Force’s first CDO.
