The Department of Justice’s Cybersecurity Unit–part of the agency’s Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section–has issued an updated best practices document for victim response and reporting of cyber incidents.  The updated guidance covers a range of issues including prevention, threat education for senior management, action plans, policies, engagement with law enforcement, ransomware, threat data sharing, cloud computing, and working with incident response firms.
