GrammaTech to Develop Testing Methodology
DHS S&T on March 7 awarded an $8 million contract to GrammaTech, a company based in Ithaca, N.Y., that produces software development tools. Under the contract, GrammaTech will develop a repeatable methodology for testing open-source static analysis tools that developers use to find vulnerabilities in software systems. This contract is part of S&T Cyber Security Division’s Software Assurance Program.
Kestrel Technology Gets DHS S&T Contract for Software Assurance
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) awarded a $7.86 million contract to Kestrel Technology on March 6. Under the contract, Kestrel Technology will expand coverage capabilities of the static analysis tools S&T uses to detect potential vulnerabilities in new software systems. The award was granted through the Homeland Security Advanced Research Project Agency Cyber Security Division’s Software Assurance Program.
