Patrick Bland is an Information Governance Architect for Veritas. Patrick works with organizations to devise effective strategies leveraging unique and innovative technology to harness the power and value of information, streamline electronic discovery and compliance workflows, and mitigate exposure from unnecessary risk stemming from prolific and unmanaged data growth, the hidden evil in our digital day and age.

Patrick is licensed to practice law in South Carolina and is a Certified E-Discovery Specialist by the Association of Certified eDiscovery Specialists. Prior to attending law school, Patrick’s first career was heavily grounded in IT with over 12 years of experience serving in various technical roles. Patrick started his eDiscovery career with Clearwell Systems as a Solutions Architect helping federal agencies bring their out-of-date discovery technologies into the 21st century. Shortly after the Symantec acquisition of Clearwell Systems, Patrick started and ran an independent eDiscovery professional services company. Before joining Veritas, Patrick was the Information Governance Specialist for DLT Solutions, and helped federal agencies build solutions and strategies to solve their governance challenges. Patrick is an avid South Carolina Gamecock fan and resides in Alexandria, VA.
