The United States Attorneys’ (USA) serve as the nation’s principal litigators under the direction of the Attorney General. While serving as the CISO for USA and under Greg’s leadership, the Cybersecurity Program had several notable achievements, including championing multiple EOUSA and Departmentally-sponsored FedRAMP authorizations as part of a set of key commercial cloud service acquisitions. These technologies are part of EOUSA’s “Zero Trust” strategy and include Box Enterprise Cloud Content Collaboration Platform (SaaS), Okta Identity as a Service (IDaaS), and Veritone aiWARE Government (SaaS).

Under Greg’s leadership, the U.S. Attorneys’ deployed the first Federal government instance of Box using Okta Identity as a Service in support of the United States Attorneys Secure File Sharing initiative (USAfx). Greg also led the first government/commercial integration and deployment of SailPoint IdentityIQ and Okta Identity as a Service leading to the development of a productized connector and commercial offering, leveraging both solutions.

In addition to USA’s cloud security achievements, Greg has led multiple security initiatives providing advanced cyber capabilities to the U.S Attorneys, including Crowdstrike, Trellix, Cisco, Zscaler, and Splunk to implement data fusion and security analytics capabilities in support of cyber defense analysis and operational planning.
