Doug VanDyke

Doug is a General Manager on the Amazon Web Services Public Sector Team, where he is focused on managing customer relationships with the U.S. Federal Civilian Government and Nonprofit Organizations. Prior to AWS, Doug spent eight years in sales and sales leadership positions at Microsoft in the U.S. Federal Government business. Most recently, Doug was a Senior Director in Microsoft’s Department of Defense segment. His other responsibilities at Microsoft included serving as Microsoft’s Account Manager for the White House, both Houses of Congress and other Civilian Agencies including the State Department, US Courts, and the National Archives. Prior to joining Microsoft, Doug was a Director and Account Manager at three internet start-ups, including one he co-founded, RitePage. He started his career as a software programmer in the airline industry for Andersen Consulting, now Accenture, where he helped design and deploy the first electronic ticketing systems for Air Canada, Delta, and US Airways. Doug graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, where he received Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Economics and International Business.
