Dave Dimond

Dave Dimond is the Chief Innovation Officer for Dell Technologies Global Healthcare and Life Sciences business; he is also a Dell EMC Distinguished Engineer. Dave’s charter is to establish enduring customer and technical alliance partner collaborations to drive joint engineering, development, commercialization, and delivery of data intensive edge-based platforms for healthcare. He also drives the development of Dell’s healthcare human progress portfolio of unique platforms for social innovation.
Before joining Dell Technologies, Dave was a strategic advisor to several healthcare ISVs, startups and investment banks, and was the Senior Vice President of Product Innovation at Technology Solutions Company, where he founded new lines of business while incubating medical imaging products.
Dave has authored technical papers, book chapters, and academic courses during his extensive career and has an MS in Engineering Management from Northeastern University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. He has served as an Adjunct Faculty member of the FW Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College in the MBA program, with a focus on Healthcare Technology and Analytics. Dave is also on the Board of Directors of the i2b2 tranSMART Foundation and leads a portfolio of Dell-funded social impact investments to build Learning Healthcare Platforms using Digital Medical Twins.
