Lee Vorthman

Lee Vorthman is the Chief Technology Officer for the Federal Civilian Agencies at NetApp U.S. Public Sector. In this role CTO, Lee establishes the technical direction and overall strategy for the Civilian region. Vorthman joined NetApp in March of 2011 and most recently served as the Cyber Practice Lead where he developed and executed a strategy to address the cyber security market for the Civilian, DoD, Intel, SLED and Healthcare regions. Within the past year, Lee created the NetApp Public Sector Cyber Alliance. The NetApp Cyber Alliance is a collaborative program designed to establish partnerships and to enhance the interoperability of cyber solutions based on NetApp® storage, virtualization, and big data technologies that help government agencies to go further, faster in providing services to their constituents. Additionally, Lee currently serves on the Board of Directors for Semper Secure – an organization focusing on the development issues in cyber security across the state of Virginia. Lee’s participation in the program has raised our presence in the cyber community working to drive the best cyber professionals.
