As the DoD Cybersecurity Lead for Maximus, Mr. Kynan Carver blends his extensive knowledge in advanced cybersecurity engineering, security operations, and cyber intelligence to design and deliver next-generation cybersecurity solutions. In his current role at Maximus, Kynan is responsible for expanding the Cybersecurity practice for the Department of Defense team while interfacing with clients to provide exceptional consulting support.
Prior to joining Maximus, Kynan led the development of cybersecurity requirements for the Defense Information Systems Agency’s (DISA) Cybersecurity division for the Defense Enterprise Office Solution (DEOS) program where he led the development of the Cyber posture and Body of Evidence (BoE) as well as the IL6 (SIPR) O365 accreditation within Azure (IaaS and SaaS) IL6 (SIPR). In addition to his work on the DEOS program, Kynan provided governmental oversight of the Security Operations Center (SOC) and Information Assurance (IA) for both their cloud and multiple on-premises infrastructures.
Kynan currently holds certifications for his CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner, Certified Ethical Hacker, and Certified Network Defense Architect. Kynan graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science degree in Cybersecurity and is currently pursuing his Master of Science degree in Cybersecurity from Liberty University.
