Big Data Innovation – Driving Better Decisions?: July 12, 2016

The White House, with input from 15 Federal agencies, has expanded plans to maximize the potential of big data with the launch of The Federal Big Data Research and Development Strategic Plan.  Agencies agree that big data can lead to further innovation and better decision-making processes, but do agencies have the necessary funding, resources, and technology to execute these goals?  What challenges – from security to data governance strategies – are agencies tackling as government becomes more dependent on data-driven solutions? Join us as we discuss how growing connected systems (IoT), devices, even retention and consolidation requirements are driving a big data innovation ecosystem.
